The Death mask (originally Masque of the Evil God or Mask of corruption) appeared exclusively in Dragon Quest IV.

Location

The mask is found in Cascade Cave.

Effect

The death mask has a defence bonus of +200 and can be equipped by anyone except for Psaro....but it is cursed. The side effect results in confusion.

It can be sold for 6 gold coins.
