Dragon Quest IX is the ninth Dragon Quest role-playing game in the series and is scheduled for release in Japan on the Nintendo DS in March 2009. The game will have a class system similar to Dragon Quest III, Dragon Quest VI, and Dragon Quest VII. A trailer was released in Japan at the Tokyo Game Show.
