Frizzle, also known as Blazemore, is a recurring offensive spell in the Dragon Quest Series. It is an intermediate-level spell that is often learned by mages and mage-like characters.

Dragon Quest III
Called blazemore, this spell is learned by wizards and sages at level 17. It torches an enemy for 6 mp, and deals around 60 damage.
Dragon Quest IV
Maya learns this spell at level 19. Singes an enemy for 4 mp, and deals between 60~80 damage.
Dragon Quest V
Torches an enemy for 4 mp and hits between 60~80 damage.

This spell is granted by the first rank of the Mage class. It is already known by Goober upon joining. It costs 4 p to cast, and deals between 70~80 damage.

Dragon Quest IX
