The full moon ring is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series. It is decorated with a pearl and is designed to protect the wearer against paralysis.

A ring that makes the wearer resistant to paralysis attacks.[1]

The full moon ring has a Defence bonus of +10, makes the wearer completely immune to paralysis, and can be equipped by all characters. It can be dropped rarely by tentaculars or made in the Alchemy Pot. The ring can also be used to create catholicon rings and lunar fans, as well. It can be sold for 600 gold.

The Full moon ring has a Defence bonus of +2, a Style bonus of +5, and increases resistance against paralysis by 50%. It can be dropped by spitegeists and lunar chimaeras. With accessory synthesis, the Defence and paralysis resistance can be increased.

The recipe book Little Lifesavers contains the recipe for the full moon ring. It can be found in a treasure chest in Heliodor Castle in the Queen's Bedchamber during the second act. If two full moon rings +3 are equipped at once, it is possible to become completely resistant to being paralyzed.
