The grim rider is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.

Description

The grim rider is an undead monster on horseback, wielding a lance and shield. As such, it is quite vulnerable to holy attacks. The skeleton has the appearance of a fop, wearing a powdered wig on its head, topped by a wide-brimmed black hat with a white feather in it. It wears a fancy green cloak, salmon-colored bracers and boots, white leggings, and black gloves. Its mad steed is murky brown with a purple mane and tail.
