Grimlins, like their pink-skinned cousins, are winged devils with the bodies of small children, scaly lizard-like tails, pointy ears, and a pair of pink or magenta horns on their heads. They float about with the pair of small, dark orange wings on their back and their tongues constantly hang out from their mischievous faces. The undersides of their bodies are teal and they have black circles around their red eyes, giving them the appearance of wearing a mask. In battle, they can breathe out fiery breath, cast a variety of different spells, and can call more devilish blighters to assist them. After a long absence from the series, grimlins made a reappearance like many classic monsters in X and eventually other spinoff games.
Grimlin appears as an A-rank monster of the Demon family as part of the limited Dragon Quest II event, appearing alongside Hargon on his banner. It can learn Snooze, Zammle, and Antimagic Burst naturally and its Leader Perk raises the spell potency of allies, including itself, by 5% in a 5x5 square. It can participate in the Gremlin's Battle Road as a party member.
