Dragon Quest monster Iron scorpion

Art by Akira Toriyama Japanese 鉄のさそり Romaji Tetsu no Sasori First appearance Dragon Quest Old localisation MtlScorpion

Characteristics

As implied by it's name, the Iron scorpion (鉄のさそり) is a metal coated menace that boasts superior defenses than it's organic bug brethren. Due to the text limitations of the Game Boy Color Dragon Quest remake, the Iron Scorpion was renamed to MtlScorpion in that version.
