Poison needle

The Poison Needle (or Poison Knife) is a weapon in the Dragon Quest series. It is a novelty weapon which typically has the potential to instantly kill and enemy in a single strike, but otherwise can only inflict one point of damage.

The poison needle normally only deals one point of damage, but since it has an increased chance of critical hit, it is useful for hunting metal slimes. It can be purchased in Coburg & Hay.

Dragon Quest VIII

The poison needle can only be equipped by Jessica.
