Psychoburst is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest series. It unleashes a sphere of destructive magical energy at a single enemy.

Psychoburst can be learned by various monsters, including Franticores and Tyrannosaura Wrecks. It costs 45 MP to cast and deals massive non-elemental spell damage to one enemy.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit | edit source]
Psychoburst can be learned by Corvus at level 33 and costs 114 MP to cast. It has a range of up to three squares away from him, inflicts major typeless spell damage to a single enemy, and has a chance to lower their Spell Res for three turns. Upgrading the spell increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to cast.
