Revaulting horse
The Revaulting horse is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest V. It is an equine monster that walks about on its hind feet and is able to use magic. Its name is a play on a vaulting horse.

Characteristics
Revaulting horses are anthropomorphic horses with muscular bodies and brown scaly hides. Its shaggy mane and tail are mossy green. Its combat abilities are unremarkable, as it is only capable of casting Midheal and will flee from battle if the opponent is strong. However, the revaulting horse can become a monster companion and it is capable of learning a wider range of magic for supporting its allies. They have only reappeared in spinoff games in the series.
