The Ascetic's rod has an Attack bonus of +19, a Style bonus of +2 and a weight of 3. In increases dammage during battle by +5%. Priests, Martial Artists, and Minstrels an equip it at Level 14. It can be created through woodworking by combining a Sturdy stick and a Thinkincense.

The Ascetic's rod appears as a 2-star weapon. It starts with +10 ATK at Lv1, but upgrades to +30 ATK at max. It also gives the user +5 Agility.

Dragon Quest Walk

The Ascetic's rod appears as a 2-star stick with a base attack power of 14. It can be found in Story Chapter 1 Episode 9, and equipped by the Priest, Warrior, Gadabout, Sage, Paladin, Superstar, High Priest, and Guardian.

Dragon Quest Champions

The Ascetic's rod reappears as a 3-star stick that can learn Leg Sweep, Deliverance, Be Like Water, and Party Pooper.
