Grandpa slimes are large, round, and green Slimes with a puffy white mustache, a white mane of wild hair, and crown-like headgear with three large spikes pointing out at the top. Their eyes are the typical round eyes of slimes though they have no visible mouths due to their large mustaches.
As one might expect from such an aged creature, grandpa slimes are incredibly wise monsters and dedicated themselves to passing their knowledge on to the next gooneration of globs. They are also very capable despite their elderly status and are usually one of the strongest monsters in the Slime family.
This was the first time that they changed Grandpa Slime and made it the 2nd most powerful slime. They replaced it with Gem slime, who in Monsters 2, had to be bred 2 times to get Granslime.

When the player has scouted 200 different monsters, whether or not the player still has them, synthesized them or released them, a Rank S Grandpa slime will be received at the Monster Pen in the Albatross.
These wise elders of the slime world boast swanky snowy-white beards. As sagacious as they are sticky, they have an endless supply of advice to give to young slimes.
