Daredevil
Daredevil (いのちしらず, Inochishirazu?, lit. Reckless) is a personality in the Dragon Quest III remakes. In the Game Boy Color version, it is known as Fearless.

In the Dragon Quest III remakes, daredevil is a personality that improves agility and resilience growth, but reduces strength growth.
At the start of the game, the Hero becomes a daredevil by receiving the final test of character in the desert. The hero must tell Dickie to leave the canteen and head back to town alone.
Other party members have a chance to be a daredevil when talent scouted at Patty's Party Planning Place, depending on their stat bonuses.

An existing character becomes a daredevil permanently by reading the Leap Before You Look book.
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake[edit | edit source]
The Daredevil personality increases Strength by 5%, decreases Resilience by 40%, increases Agility by 20%, increases Stamina by 20%, has no influence on Wisdom, and increases Luck by 10%. A character of any vocation can become a daredevil reading the Leap Before You Look book. It is possible to create a character from Patty's Party Planning Place that starts as a daredevil. However, even by replicating the same method of distributing seeds, it is still possible to end up with a different personality.
