Eric is a non-player character in Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation edit
Eric is Olivia's lover who died while aboard a ship, which then became the Phantom Ship. His spirit can be found at one of the oars on the second deck. Eric and Olivia's memories are stored within the Locket of Love aboard the ship.
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake edit
In the HD-2D remake, Eric's spirit has a blue tinge overlay on it.
