The Lieutenant kernel is a monster in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Lieutenant kernels are faerie-like warriors with yellow skin similar in appearance to a Conkerer. They wear simple breastplates, loincloths made from orange leaves over shorts, and spiked acorn helmets that cover their eyes. They wield a Headsman's axe instead of the simple hatchets wielded by a conkerer. These kernels are much more powerful than their conk counterparts, being able to land critical hits and different axe techniques on their opponents, as well as build up their power for extra strength. Their name is a play on the term "lieutenant colonel".
