Lump shamans are high-ranking humanoid spellcasters with bodies made from wrinkled, reddish-pink flesh and solid yellow eyes. In their hands, they carry gnarled wooden staves and they are capable of casting several different spells. In several spinoff games, they are classified as demons, fitting for their Japanese name.
Obnoxious magicians with a penchant for casting spells to confuse their opponents. For an easier battle, stop their magic with a well-placed spell of your own.
Lump shaman began appearing in Version 3.1. It is able to cast Frizzle, Kafrizz, Moreheal, and Fuddle, as well as put characters to sleep with Lullab-Eye.
These smarty-pants magic munchkins might look like they're slinging spells with a sprightly smile, but look at their furrowed faces and you'll see the light has long faded from their eyes.
Lump shaman appears as a C-rank member of the Demon family. It can be recruited from Chapter 17, Episode 4: Reunited of the main storyline, as well as the Super Training Quest of the "Operation Love Struck!" event at both Ultra and Hell difficulties. The Lump shaman can participate in the Patissier knight, Frankengolem, and Baalzack's Battle Road as a party member.
The character Brass is a friendly Lump shaman who is Dai's adoptive grandfather who helps train him and tries unsuccessfully to teach him magic. He was once a high-ranking servant of the Dark Lord Hadlar, but after Avan defeated him, Brass and other monsters started living peacefully on Dermline Island. Brass was portrayed as having red skin like his counterpart from the games, but in the 2020 anime, his skin colour was changed to light grey instead.
