The Prime slime is a monster in the series.

Characteristics

Prime slimes are giant yellow slimes with majestic, fluffy white beards with a diminutive knight standing atop of them. The knights have golden and black crowns, a set of golden armour, and dual wield a pair of golden swords. They sport beards similar to the yellow slimes. The slimes themselves have a helmet-like visor and wear a short purple cape with red lightning. They enhance their strength with Oomph before unleashing powerful sword attacks.

Rumors abound about these brutal blobs. Some say they're heaven-sent, others that they're the saviors of slimekind.

• A prime slime is one of the eight types of slimes that must be defeated for Quest #165: Shame on Goo. The quest can be repeated as many times as desired.

Dragon Quest X

Prime slime began appearing in Version 6.2. It is able to perform a killer combo, call down Lightning, as well as cast Oomph and Kazap.
