Tree fellers have teal skin, green pants with a red sash, and orange boots that match their hair. They carry a wand that shines with a white bright light, allowing them to cast holy Heal spells and bone chilling Crack spells.
Unusually popular for a pallet swap, the Tree feller has been featured in several spin-offs over the years while the original monster, the Stumpkin, has only appeared in main line titles, before having its fair share of appearing in spin-offs.
These monsters are in fact sprites which inhabit infernal foliage. They roam the globe seeding saplings, but often succumb to homesickness, and are occasionally seen shedding tears in the shade of a shrub
Their Japanese name (ヘルボックル herubokkuru) is meant to be a reference to and play on words of Korpokkur (コロポックル koropokkuru) from Ainu folklore, a race of small people who were said to live in the northern islands of Japan.
