Booga is a boss and character in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. He is one of Mordegon's Spectral Sentinels. After the fall of Yggdrasil, he takes over the town of Octagonia and rules it with an iron fist, turning into a den of vice and monster paradise with the help of the Green Orb. He has the ability to manipulate people's minds and turn humans into monsters.

Booga has gone on to make regular appearances in spinoff games both as a boss and as a recruitable monster.

Characteristics edit

Booga is a rotund demon with spotted green skin, three red eyes, digitigrade legs, and curved fuchsia horns on his head. His mouth is filled with long yellow fangs. He wears an outfit like that of a stereotypical sultan, with a vest that can barely cover his upper body, rounded hose trousers, and various gold jewelry all over his body, including rings at the end of his long tail, bracelets, and a jeweled belt around his waist. On his head, the self-proclaimed King of Monsters wears a gold crown with a red and purple cap and around his neck, he wears a golden chain with the Green Orb as a pendant. He also levitates various silver orbs around his midsection. In battle, Booga is able to use his groovy dance moves to either summon a powerful cyclone that rips apart his enemies or put on a truly show-stopping seductive dance in an attempt to get anyone who watches into the groove. He can also beguile his opponents by opening the third eye on his forehead.

Dragon Quest Tact edit

Booga appears as a S-rank monster of the Demon family during the second part of the Version 4.0 Update Festival Eve's limited event "Mindini's Boogie-Woogie Rescue Mission" on his own banner alongside the Token taker. He can participate in the Demonic knight's Battle Road as a party member.
