The Cannibelle is a monster in the series.

Characteristics edit

Cannibelles are female demons with beautiful, but monstrous appearances. They have indigo-coloured skin, solid yellow eyes, and pointed ears. Their scraggly blonde hair reaches down to the ground. They have a large pair of demonic wings on their backs with orange membrane and a long tail. The demons wear revealing, strapless white dresses with red borders, with the train of the dress blending into a set of grasping grey claws that move about on the ground. Around their waists, they wear purple sashes that reach down to their feet. They also wear white opera gloves, circlets, and chokers all decorated with red gemstones. In their left hands, cannibelles carry wicked sharp daggers.

According to their monster description, the cannibelles were formerly scorned women who sold their souls to evil in order to become demons. In battle, they are capable of casting powerful ice magic and can paralyse foes with their wicked gaze.

Description		They wander the world searching for souls to consume, believing that each victim's cry of despair makes them ever more beautiful. Made when misunderstood maidens, bitter at being badly treated, sell their souls to become beautiful beasts.

During Quest #176: Well Forgetful, the player must enrage ten cannibelles and then defeat them in order to fill a rankened phial with cannibelle rage. This must be done in ten separate battles, as the player will only receive credit once even if a cannibelle becomes enraged more than once in a single battle.

The monster's Japanese name Hell Venus (ヘルヴィーナス, Heru Bīnasu^?) may be a reference to Venus, the Roman goddess of love and beauty and the counterpart to the Greek Aphrodite.
