Characteristics edit
The demonic knight has the same basic appearance as the harmour, being a full suit of golden armour with a tall pair of horns on its helmet and sharp spikes on its pauldrons. In its right hand, the knight carries a shield embossed with the design of a skull and a tall poleaxe in its left hand.
In Dragon Quest Tact, the demonic knight acts like a quite literal "knight in shining armour", contrary to his name. He goes on quests to defend and aid the weak, acts in a selfless demeanour, speaks in an old-fashioned manner.
Appearances edit
Dragon Quest X edit
A trio of demonic knights are faced as bosses during Quest #214: Heir of the Sword. They are able to use Flame Slash and Gust Slash, perform desperate attacks, and can protect themselves against critical hits themselves with Desperate Measures.
Dragon Quest Tact edit
Demonic knight appears as an A-rank monster of the Inorganic family during the second part of the Version 4.0 Update Festival Eve's limited "Mindini's Boogie-Woogie Rescue Mission" event. He will join the party in Chapter 2, Episode 1 of the event quests and it can be fully awakened by repeating the quest at any difficulty. The demonic knight stars in his own Battle Road.
