Emergency Groom is a skill that either restores some of the user's MP or can be used to restore some HP to either the user or another party member for a small amount of MP.

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake[edit | edit source]
Emergency Groom is an enemy-only skill used by Muddy hand, same as the III HD-2D Remake. It restores some of its own or a fellow monster's HP.
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake[edit | edit source]
Emergency Groom restores around 50~60 HP to a single party member for 5 MP. It is learned by a Monster Wrangler starting at level 11. Emergency Groom can also be used by a friendly Bubble slime once its Species Strength has reached ★★. On the enemy side, it can be used by Muddy hand.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
Emergency Groom restores some of the user's MP, up to around approximately 200 MP, for no MP cost. It can be learned by a Meowgician monster companion by allocating 3 skill points into their Cat Magic skill.
