Golden Boy is a character and boss in Dragon Quest XI.

Appearance and Character[edit | edit source]

Golden Boy is one of the fighters taking part in the Masked Martial Arts tournament at Octagonia. He is a young man with ear-length curtained blond hair that is parted on the right side. His outfit is a simplified version of the Mardi garb that is worn later by the Luminary and Sylvando. He wears a blue and white vest worn over a long-sleeved grey tunic, a black undershirt, black leggings with a diamond pattern on the outside, and leather shoes. It lacks the large feather design in the back. He has a white rose on his lapel with bluish-white feathers and there are gold details on his vest. During the tournament, Golden Boy wears a blue-white mask with golden details. He forms the team Bullion Boys with Sylvando, disguised under the name Sterling Sylva. In battle, Golden Boy dual wields a pair of edged boomerangs in 3D versions of the game, and a pair of eagle daggers in the 2D mode.
