Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
The Nightcleaver has an Attack bonus of +56, a Style bonus of +6, increases the wielder's Weight by 9, and deals light-elemental damage when attacking. It has an equipment level of 35 and can be equipped by a Warrior, Gladiator, Monster Wrangler, Demon Swordsman, or Guardian. The greatsword can be crafted by a weapon blacksmith.
Starting with Version 6.2, the amount of materials required to make one were reduced, making it easier to craft. Previously, it required six lumps of Silver ore, two pieces of Evencloth, six Cherry blossom petals, and three Faerie flames.

Dragon Quest X Offline[edit | edit source]
The Nightcleaver has an Attack bonus of +56, a Charm bonus of +6, and deals light-elemental damage when attacking. It can be equipped by the Hero as a Warrior or Gladiator, and Hussar. It can be crafted with the Fun-Size Forge.

The Nightcleaver has an Attack bonus of +46, a Blocking bonus of +8, and can only be equipped by Psaro. It can be purchased for 5,900 gold on the Stonecloud after Psaro has joined the party and can be sold for 2,950 gold.
