The paring knife is a simple weapon in the Dragon Quest series. It is the weakest dagger in every game it appears in.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit | edit source]
The paring knife has an attack bonus of +6 and can be equipped by Bianca, Nera, the Hero's daughter, and some monster companions. It can be purchased from Roundbeck for 50 gold and sold for 25 gold. It is equipped by Bianca as a child when she joins.
