Rednusadner is a sword and a key item in Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors.
Details[edit | edit source]
The Hero receives the sword after defeating Draug in the Mirror World at the end of Chapter 6. Equipping the sword allows the Hero to use the Figure of Fate Master Stroke which is used in the next chapter to open the Red Sea. It can be tempered into an Aurora blade using three Lava lumps, three Ice crystals, three Thunderballs, and a Gold bar. Additional copies of Rednusadner can be received from a Lucky bag by defeating Draug after the original has been tempered.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Rednusadner spelled backwards is "rend asunder", which is fitting for a weapon made in the Mirror World. The name of the sword in other languages follows the same naming convention.
- In the original Japanese version, the Rednusadner shares a name はじゃのつるぎ (Haja no tsurugi, はじゃのつるぎ?) with the Cautery sword, which appears in several games. It also shares a very similar design with the Sword of Kings and can eventually be tempered into three different legendary swords.
