The Saintly robe is a robe in the series.
Description[edit | edit source]
This robe is the upgraded version of the Ascetic robe, which is the iconic attire for male Priests in Dragon Quest IX. It is superficially similar to its predecessor, the robe bears a resemblance to those worn by Buddhist monks. It is made from a darker green cloth and there are triangular patterns sewn into the sashes and the ends of the robe's sleeve.
Starting with Dragon Quest X, the saintly robe has a completely different design, making it look closer to the Surplice. It is still made out of dark green cloth but now features a golden inverted-Y design embroidered on the front. The robe is worn over a sleeveless black shirt, orange shorts, and black leggings, as well as a silver rosary worn around the neck. It can also be worn by several vocations now and is not gender-restricted.
