The Silver platypunk is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest: Monster Parade.

It is a silver-coated variant of the Platypunk.
Characteristics edit
Silver platypunks are practically identical to their normal counterparts, being squat round creatures with duckbills, a Mohawk on their heads, a sharp set of claws, and a long monkey-like tail. Their only notable difference is that their entire bodies are coated in silver. In Tact, the Silver platypunk has a particular affinity for ice and inflicting paralysis on its enemies.

Dragon Quest Tact edit
Silver platypunk appears as an A-rank monster of the Beast family as part of the limited "Silver Week" event. It will join the party in the Find the Silver Platypunk! event quest, which requires the player to collect 5 Silver Platypunk Tails from various Silver Week quests. It can be fully awakened by repeating the quest and collecting Silver Platypunk Crystals.
