Snipevines are enormous members of the nature family that utilize dazzling colours and pleasant scents to lure prey into their gaping maws, akin to a rafflesia flower that's ditched it's foul funk.
The monster's colouration of gold, silver, and purple represents the wealth and power implied through it's Japanese name, royal bloom. The purple represents tyrian purple, a dye notorious for being expensive to produce and became associated with royal families who could afford the high labour fee.
