Tough nut is used as a material for crafting items and equipment, as well as cooking dishes. It can be picked up from sparkly spots, purchased for 220 gold each from a material shop, or dropped by certain monsters such as Mitey oak.
Dragon Quest X Offline[edit | edit source]
Tough nut is used as a material for the Fun-Size Forge. Once again, it can be picked up from sparkly spots, purchased for 220 gold each from a material shop, or dropped by Mitey oak.
Dragon Quest Treasures[edit | edit source]
Tough nut can be foraged from plants on the Paternoggin and the Maneland, purchased for 120 gold each from a shop on the Maneland, or occasionally received by sending a dispatch team to the Sweetshade Glade Area of the Maneland. It is used for cooking dishes at the canteen or for scouting monsters.
