The Visor kaiser is a monster in the series.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Visor kaisers consist of a driver riding around in a huge mechanical suit that was made long ago, created by evil scientists to look like a fearsome monster, according to its monster description in Dragon Quest X. The front of the suit looks like a monster's face with sharp fangs, wears a shaggy straw skirt, and has spikes on its shoulders and knees. The suit has a silver outer back shell, while the face, shoulders, and knee spikes are coloured white. The shaggy skirt it wears is made of dark greyish-green straw. Most of the suit, including the seat, limbs, and even the driver itself are coloured black; both the suit and driver are decorated with cyan lines all over. It is able to expel noxious fumes and cursed mist from its maw. In its hands, the visor kaiser wields a large pair of curved horns colored a gradation of greyish green to white. These horns are sharp enough to shatter boulders when charging.

Visor kaiser appeared from the beginning of the game. It is able to increase its Tension, expel Cursed Mist or Air Pollution, and can attack with Black Breath.

Description		Military machines made once upon a time to protect an emperor. Now that the ruler they guarded is gone, they've been left without a proper purpose.

If a visor kaiser is sparkling, it can be ridden after being defeated in battle. When it charges, it can shatter boulders and it will also protect the party from taking damage on electrified floor tiles.
