The Wight emperor is a monster in the series.

Characteristics edit

Wight emperors are zombified sorcerers that wear a mitre and tattered robes in green, blue, and red. Their eyes have sunken into their sockets and glow with a pale light and several teeth have fallen out of their skulls. In their hands, they carry a sceptre topped with a cracked skull. The wights are capable of casting several powerful spells. Its monster description in Dragon Quest X that it is ancient tyrant, clinging to its former glory, that has been brought back from the dead.

They believe that life is pain and death is eternal happiness, and love treating travellers to a taste of 'contentment'.


Dragon Quest X edit

Wight emperor began appearing in Version 3.5, encountered in the Underground of the Great Nagaland Temple. They are still able to cast Kathwack and Kafuddle, as well as being able to cast Kazammle and Kaswoosh. The emperors are also able to use Channel Anger and can call for backup.
