King Carmen (father) Jagan (cousin) }} Arus is the main protagonist of The Mark of Erdrick and one of the remaining descendants of Alheru, the hero who defeated Zoma in the past.
Arus has a gentle yet brave soul. For most of the manga, his main weapon is the Aurora blade gifted by him by sage Kadal, until he obtains Erdrick's sword.

- Arus' main color is blue. His clothes are of his color in most of his appearances.
- The protagonist of Kamui Fujiwara's adaptation of Dragon Quest VII is also named Arus.
