The recipe book A Hero's Book of Brilliant Weapons contains the recipe for the aurora staff. It is the reward for making all five wishes in Drustan's Labyrinth.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit | edit source]
The Aurora staff is a S-rank staff that first appeared during the Dragon Quest IX event as a reward for completing either Demon King Orgodemir, Rhapthorne's True Form, or Nokturnus's Maps at Level 50, 75, or 99. It has a WIS bonus of +28, a max MP bonus of +11, and has three slots for Alchemy Effects. Some of the potential effects are boosting the wielder's spell potency or healing spell potency.
Dragon Quest Walk[edit | edit source]
The Aurora staff first appeared in the game on May 11th, 2023 on the limited "Earth Elf Equipment" banner. It boosts the wielder's spell damage and allows them to cast Ridgeraiser at weapon level 30.
