The Carbon steel claymore is a greatsword in the series.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
The Carbon steel claymore has an Attack bonus of +40, a Style bonus of +5, and a Weight bonus of +18. It increases damage dealt in the Colosseum by 10%. The greatsword has an equipment level of 28 and can be equipped by a Warrior, Gladiator, Monster Wrangler, Demon Swordsman, Guardian. It can be crafted by a weapon blacksmith. Starting with Version 6.2, the amount of materials required to make one were reduced, making it easier to craft. Previously, it required four lumps of Silver ore, three lumps of Copper ore, and a Savvy sapphire.

Dragon Quest X Offline[edit | edit source]
The Carbon steel claymore has an Attack bonus of +40 and a Charm bonus of +5. It can be equipped by the Hero as a Warrior or Gladiator, and Hussar. The greatsword can be purchased for 2,200 gold from a weapon shop or crafted with the Fun-Size Forge.
