The Ring of immunity, also known as the Contra band, is an accessory in the series. It features a design of a venomous snake and is designed to protect the wearer against poison and envenomation.

The Ring of immunity has a Defence bonus of +10, makes the wearer immune to poison, and can be equipped by all characters. It can be sold for 750 gold. A ring of immunity is the third item that Dodgy Dave in Pickham will request, rewarding the player with a Bandit axe the first time, then 3,500 gold for subsequent payments. The ring can be made in the Alchemy Pot and can also be upgraded further into a Catholicon ring, as well.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
The Ring of immunity has a Defence bonus of +2, a Style bonus of +3, and increases resistance against poison by 50%. By equipping two rings, the wearer can become completely resistant to poison. With accessory synthesis, the Defence bonus and poison resistance can be increased.
- In the Offline version of the game, it is possible to become completely immune to poison with a single ring through accessory synthesis.

The recipe book Little Lifesavers contains the recipe for the ring of immunity. It can be found in a treasure chest in Heliodor Castle in the Queen's Bedchamber during the second act. If two rings of immunity +3 are equipped at once, it is possible to become completely resistant to being poisoned and envenomated.

The Ring of immunity can be obtained as a lucky bag item. It makes the wearer resistant to poison attacks.

The Ring of immunity can be created using the recipe of 2 gold + 3 antidotal herbs + pure water.

The quick recipe for the ring of immunity can be received from King Flaminio in exchange for 2 Mini medals onboard the Stonecloud, while the classic and luxury recipes can be dropped rarely by Walking corpses, Toxic zombies, and Corpse corporals.
Dragon Quest Heroes II[edit | edit source]
The Ring of immunity reduces damage taken from poison by 40%, reaching to a total of 80% once it is fully enhanced. It will also give a +16 bonus to the wearer's max HP when it has been upgraded. One can be found in a treasure chest in the Lumberlands and it can be received as a reward for completing Quest #023: Smouldering Boulders. The ring can also be dropped by Bodkin fletchers and Corpse corporals.
Dragon Quest of the Stars[edit | edit source]
The Ring of immunity is a 2★ accessory with a Defence bonus of +2 that comes equipped with the Poison Guard skill, which increases resistance against poison by 60%. It can be created at the equipment workshop.
