Characteristics

The funky chicken is a blue-feathered, bipedal bird with a penchant for singing and dancing in spite of its diminutive and rotund size. It wears yellow boots, with a green necklace, and a red headband it uses to tie its feathers up.

Etymology

The monster's modern localised name is taken from the 1969 R&B song "Do the Funky Chicken" by Rufus Thomas.
