The Bunicorn is a monster in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Bunicorns are rabbits with a singular spiral horn on their foreheads, much like a unicorn. They have grey fur, and the horn is often a yellowish brown shade. Unlike real-life lagomorphs, bunicorns are fiercely territorial and will think nothing of skewering adventurers that cross their paths.
As enemies typically encountered at the start of a game, bunicorns are not particularly strong, though they typically outweigh the likes of Slimes. Due to this, bunicorns are usually a threat to players who take to traveling too far before getting better equipped and leveled at the start of their journey. In later games, they gained the ability to build up their strength in order to perform more powerful charging attacks against unsuspecting adventurers. According to their monster info in X, vicious bunicorns are able to alter the hardness of their horns based on their opponent and their horns can serve as crafting materials for weapons.

Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime[edit | edit source]
Bunicorns are Platiosi that the player can encounter in Forewood Forest, though only after progressing through the game enough to unlock the upper half of the area. They attack by charging straight with their horn, often slamming into walls and getting momentarily stuck before they can pull themselves free.
Dragon Quest Builders[edit | edit source]

The monster drops meat upon its defeat. Bunicorn meat is a crafting material, used to create (with coal) a bunicorn steak, which fills the hunger meter by 20% and increases attack power for a short time. A bunicorn steak with bread creates the even more useful bunny burger, which fills the hunger meter by 80% and also increases attack power for a short time.
