Honeyhead horknight

The Honeyhead horknight is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest XI. It is a Gleeful grublin that has taken to the skies on the back of a honeybee mount.

Characteristics edit

Like the other horknights, honeyhead horknights are more heavily-armoured cavalrymen compared to their infantry counterparts. They wear a simple set of golden armour and golden masks with a pair of curved horns that obscure their faces, along with a pair of yellow riding gloves. The horknights traded in their chipped swords for a golden jousting lance and use their offhand to hold their mount's reins. Their bees are light green with darker stripes on their abdomen and have red antennae and limbs, wearing golden masks and a golden saddle on the back of their thoraxes for their riders. The bees are able to fire off stingers laced with a befuddling toxin at their opponents. The riders are versed in magic, being able to cast Multiheal to heal themselves and their allies in battle.
