Juliante, known by her title of Mystical Juliante (妖魔ジュリアンテ, Yōma Juriante), is a character and boss in Dragon Quest X.

She is fought while investigating the disappearance of several influential people in the castle town of Gartland.

Appearance and Character

Juliante has the appearance of a beautiful humanoid woman with light purple skin, red eyes with yellow cat-like vertical pupils, a tall pair of animal ears, and a long, wild mane of dark purple hair with white tips similar to a kitsune's tails that reaches down to her knees, as well as various purple tattoos on her body. She has two long fringes of hair that fall in front of her face and she wears a silver hairband and a tiara with a blue gemstone around her forehead. Juliante wears a black leather outfit trimmed with fur and studded with spikes much like a dominatrix, consisting of a bustier, bikini bottoms, gloves, and high-heeled boots worn with fishnet stockings held up with garters. She wields a black Whip in battle and utilizes her good looks in battle to try and beguile unwitting adventurers.

As Party Animal Juliante, she dons traditional Japanese festival clothing with her own flair consisting of a low-cut black festival happi with maroon and gold trim, a large fur collar around her neck and a fur sash decorated with three skulls, platform geta worn with socks, a rope hachimaki around her forehead, and a large obi around her waist. She also wears fishnet on her left arm and thigh, a gold flower hairpin on the right side of her hair, and carries around a kiseru, a long smoking pipe in her right hand.

Mystical Juliante appears as an S-rank member of the Beast family as part of the limited Serious Showdown!? White Hot Sweets Contest event on her own banner alongside Princess Slime. She can be faced as a boss in Chapter 2, Episode 5 of the event quests, as well as in the Mystical Juliante's Super Sweet Battle stages too. She can participate in the Sweet troll's Battle Road as a party member.

Summer Festival! event on her own banner alongside Tortured soul. She can be faced as a boss in Episode 10 of the event quests, as well as various boss battles. She can learn Big Fireworks and Bon Odori Mastery via Talent Blossoming. The latter is a perk that grants her a 40% chance of triggering Alluring Bon Odori when attacking the enemy.
