On the Emerald Coast, when Erik and the Hero are caught by Hendrik trying to escape the mainland, the track starts. It fades once they make it safely to the Door of Departure. In the Dundrasil ruins, when Jade and the Hero are spotted by a Heliodorian guard, the track begins. It fades when Jade jumps off the cliff to save the falling Hero. This track loops. | ||

The track loops. The track is also heard at the summit of the Tor in a cutscene after Gemma and the Luminary pray in their coming-of-age ceremony. It loops even before the player is sent back to the base. The theme is, famously, the theme of Cobblestone. Before Cobblestone is destroyed, this theme will loop in the background. | ||

Notably, this theme plays in Gondolia after Erik is captured, beginning when Sylvando points to the camera in a cutscene and asks if they were going to do anything about it. The track continues even after the cutscene has ended, acting as a temporary backing track for Gondolia. It later ends in a cutscene where Jasper notices the party sneak up behind him and the music fades abruptly right before he turns around. This theme also plays in the Caverns Under Octagonia during a cutscene, starting when Jade wakes up from unconsciousness after Vince Vanquish carries her down there. It stops when Vince doubles over in pain. Plays in Dundrasil Reigon during a cutscene after Jade and the Luminary encounter Hendrik. Begins when Jade engages him in battle, looping until she manages to catch him off-guard and escape on his horse with the Luminary, fading as they ride away. | ||

It fades quickly when the Luminary accidentally summons a zap spell to strike the incoming Hades condor. In the Heliodor sewers, when Erik and the Luminary accidentally wake up a slumbering black dragon, the dragon roars at them and the camera promptly cuts to the two's shocked reactions. As soon as the cut happens, this track begins to play. It continues to loop in the background until the two find a place against the wall to hide behind, and the music fades. If the player chooses not to run but to defeat the dragon, the theme will stop in favour of "Unflinchable Courage". If the player flees from battle, the theme will resume. | ||

Appears in the monster lair during a cutscene. After Veronica snaps her fingers twice to show her regained control over frizz spells, this track plays. It becomes a temporary backing track until after they rescue Noah and the player is sent to spend a night at the inn. Plays in Dundrasil ruins in a cutscene when Jade and the Hero return safely to the other party members after accidentally splitting ways. It becomes a temporary backing track before the Rainbough shows the party members a vision and the track stops. Near Lonalulu, after the party is attacted by a tentacular that had been terrorizing the Lonalulu fishermen, the theme begins to play, ending when the cutscene ends. | ||

The track resumes even after their talk and only ends when the Hero comes to his senses and returns from his vision. In a Lonalulu cutscene, when Kainui explains the story of his late grandfather, Kainoa, this theme plays. It ends when Kainui walks away in anger. If the player tells Michelle this truth, It later plays again when she sees his gravestone at Saikiki Beach. It acts as a temporary backing track for later events and lasts outside the cutscene for a little bit, ending a line before Kainui finishes reading his grandfather's note to Michelle in the cabin. | ||

After the Prince repeats this pledge for the first time, this track begins to play, looping until the cutscene fades to black and the next cutscene begins. | ||
