Rod of rapidity
The Rod of rapidity is a two-handed staff first added to the series in Dragon Quest X. It allows the holder to cast Accelerate upon themselves in battle, increasing their agility and evasion.

Interestingly, the staff will increase the user's agility by two stages (40%) in the 3DS version, but only by one stage in all others.
