The Tricky turban is a recurring piece of headwear in the Dragon Quest series. This magenta-colored headwrap is part of the iconic attire of female Mages. In its original appearance, it helped protect the wearer from having their MP drained, but was later changed to help prevent the wearer from becoming cursed.
