The Warrior's shinguards are legwear in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
The shinguards consist of sturdy red trousers worn with a leather belt and a set of metal poleyns, or armour made to protect the knees. They are essentially the same as the Warrior's trousers from Dragon Quest IX. In some games, they are also worn with the warrior's boots.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
The Warrior's shinguards have a Defence bonus of +13, a Style bonus of +4, and increase the wearer's Weight by 10. They have an equipment level of 30 and can only be equipped by a Warrior. The entire set consists of the warrior's armour, the trousers, the warrior's helm, the warrior's boots, and warrior's gloves. If all five pieces are equipped, the wearer gains a max HP bonus of +10 and an extra +25 to Style.
Dragon Quest X Offline[edit | edit source]
The Warrior's shinguards have a Defence bonus of +18, a max HP bonus of +3, an Agility bonus of +13, and a Charm bonus of +14. They can only be equipped by the Hero as a Warrior. The shinguards are received as a reward for completing a quest for Warriors or crafted with the Fun-Size Forge.

Dragon Quest Smash/Grow[edit | edit source]
The Warrior's Shinguards are 1★ lower body armour with a Defence bonus of +8 and a Magical Defence bonus of +6 at level 1. Their starting Boon is Sleep Resistance +5%. They can be acquired randomly from any transmuter.
