The '''Small fry''' is a recurring {{MFamilies}} in the {{DQSeries}}. One of the smallest members of the [[Dragon family]], it is typically the first one encountered in the titles in which it appears, and assuredly is the least dangerous. 

==Characteristics==
The small fry looks like a baby dragon. It usually knows breathing attacks, but none powerful enough to actually be a threat to the [[party]] unless players are severely under-leveled. Due to its coloration, head shape, and horn style, some fans believe them to be the nymph stage or per-adolescent form of [[Great dragon]]s. However, its official descriptions from several games, specifically from the {{Monsters S}} sub-series, state that the Small fry itself, despite its size, is actually fully grown. But its description from {{The Dark Prince}} states that there is no official confirmation that it is a hatchling or a fully grown dragon.
