The Statue of the Hero is a mini-boss that appears in Dragon Quest VIII. It is one of the traps found in the magical maze at the center of the Black Citadel, and attacks the party along with marble mockeries of the rest of the party.

Unlike most stone-based material monsters it resists explosive spells, and copies the hero's resistance to Zap.
