The '''Berserker''' appears as a crazed (or simply really, ''really'' happy) {{Humanoid}} wielding a hand axe and shield, as well as a full tunic and cape. The fact he appears fully clothed, even having a decorative circlet on, suggests a reasonably high level of intelligence. When Berserkers first appeared, they had a completely black head, but some modern appearances gave them a yellow head like the rest of their bodies.

For the monster vocation in Dragon Quest VII, see Berserker (vocation). For the skill set in Joker, see Berserker (skill)

The berzerker is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.

Introduced in Dragon Quest II, it's an axe-wielding maniac who usually possesses a high attack stat.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Berzerkers appears as crazed Humanoids wielding hand axes and shields, as well as a full tunic and cape. The fact they appear fully clothed, even having a decorative circlet on, suggests a reasonably high level of intelligence. When berserkers first appeared, they had a completely black head, but some modern appearances gave them a yellow head like the rest of their bodies.
