The notso macho is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.

Introduced in Dragon Quest VII, it is an obese, yellow humanoid armed with a sword and savage expression.

Notso machos are rather fat Humanoid creatures with yellow skin, albeit the green tops of their heads and 'ears', and black eyes with red irises. They are constantly slack-jawed with tongue lolling out and wear metal bands around their wrists and ankles. Their weapon of choice is a very large single-edged sword, which they constantly have at the ready to draw.

While intelligence may be the last word one would attach to these creatures, they are far more versatile than their appearances would let on.
