The Fire fry is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VII.

Floating fiery looking fishy fiends with an eerie appearance that can spend whole groups of enemies into a deep Snooze. Their blistering magic also allows them to blast big groups with Bang, once they're asleep and unable to fight back.
