Wax murderer appears as a D-rank monster of the Inorganic family as part of the limited Dragon Quest V event. It can be recruited from Lower Level East of the Knightmare Towers at any difficulty, eventually becoming recruitable in the second part of the storyline from Chapter 1, Episode 3: Searching for Clues. The Wax murderer stars in its own Battle Road and it can also participate in Kon the Knight's Battle Road as a party member.
